Peter KLEINGARN

Peter Kleingarn is a Partner with the International and Corporate Tax practice of ATOZ. His practice supports multinational corporations, and financial services organizations on tax matters related to structured finance, corporate restructuring and implementation, tax due diligence and assessment of annual tax provisions. He is especially known for managing complex client engagements involving the use of hybrid financial instruments and structured finance transactions. Peter offers extensive advisory experience both as in-house and external tax counsel. He began his career in 1994 with a German tax advisory company and later became the director of tax of a German real estate company, managing a property portfolio with a value exceeding Euro 1 billion.

Peter Kleingarn is a graduate ‘Diplom Finanzwirt’ in Germany. He is a Chartered Accountant in Germany (‘Steuerberater’) as well as a Chartered Accountant in Luxembourg (‘Expert Comptable’). He is the President of the Deutsch-Luxemburgische Wirtschaftsinitiative - DLWI.
