ATOZ Group is pleased to announce that Yves Germeaux has joined the firm as Head of Aviation Finance.
Yves will head up a team of aviation finance professionals, offering a wide range of services to the aviation world, including financing, fleet management, strategy as well as risk management solutions.
As part of ATOZ’s strategy of continuous growth and development, the goal of this new service line will be to accompany clients from all over the world in any aviation finance related matter, including structuring and source funding for aircraft and engines through simple loans or more complex instruments such as capital market structures, joint ventures or investment funds. The team will provide advice for fleet planning, aircraft performance studies and purchase and sale transactions, and help companies in their mergers and acquisition projects. Clients will be advised on mitigating risks due to, among others, cash, fuel, currencies and interest rates.
In combination with ATOZ’s already comprehensive product range, the Aviation Finance team will be able to propose to its clients an extensive and integrated offer.

Prior to joining ATOZ, Yves has held vice president corporate finance and chief financial officer positions at Cargolux and Luxaviation, respectively. He has a track record of successfully financing major aviation projects and of placing and managing large fleet orders. During his 22 years of holding strategic financing positions at global corporations, Yves also was director of corporate finance at Luxembourg based steel group Arbed (now Arcelor Mittal).
His education includes a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from HEC Lausanne in partnership with the Anderson Business School at the University of California Los Angeles, a Master Degree in Law from Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg and a Master of Science in Economic Sciences from HEC Lausanne. Yves is 48 years old and has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance at the University of Luxembourg for more than two decades. He is regularly invited to speak at major aviation finance events.
