Philipp Schäfer

Philipp is a Director in the International & Corporate Tax department at ATOZ.

A tax professional since 2020, Philipp has experience in both Luxembourg and international tax advisory, with a focus on alternative investments (e.g. private equity, private debt and real estate). He advises a wide range of international clients on the direct tax aspects of cross-border operations including set-up of investment structures, cash repatriation, mergers & acquisitions and exit planning.

Philipp holds a degree in Business Economics and a Master's in Financial Management from the University of Trier, along with a post-graduate degree in Luxembourg Tax.  He is also a Luxembourg Chartered Accountant (Expert-Comptable).

Philipp is fluent in German and English.
